Many of you have asked . . . and here it is (finally)!!! A free step by step guide that explains and gives suggestions for how you could group your students into four leveled guided reading groups just like we do and how to set up and rotate your students through daily center rotations.
click {here} to download the step by step guide
click {here} to download a set of generic and jungle themed center signs
click {here} to download a class set of center nametags
click {here} to download the center posters that will be displayed at the front of your classroom. They were all created on legal size paper (8 1/2 x 14).
Feel free to send us a message {madefor1stgrade@gmail.com} if you have any questions, comments or concerns. We would be glad to try to walk you through this process. It’s one of those things that seems like it would be easier to understand if you could actually see it in action.![]()

Thanks for the explanation of centers/guided reading. The freebies are great. I was noticing that on the nametags one of the above level numbers is reversed. It is the one with 8-4 and 4-8. All the others are the name on each set. Does that matter or is it a typo? Thanks again for your great resources!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome resource. Thanks for all your hard work!
