Alphabet FUN

We have spent the first 3 weeks of our school year reviewing letter sounds and proper letter formation with our kiddos.  Now that’s we’ve made it through the entire alphabet we are looking forward to a fun filled week of alphabet FUN when we return to school on Tuesday.  We will be incorporating lots of our favorite alphabet themed literature and making several alphabet books for our classroom libraries.abc FUN

Here’s a little {sneak} peek at some of the activities that are included in our alphabet FUN unit . . . which is available in our TpT store.  alphabet FUN

Click {here} to download a free copy of a template you can use to create a class book for your classroom library.  It goes along with one of the alphabet books we always read called It Begins with an A by Stephanie Calmenson.  Assign each student a different letter of the alphabet and let them write clues to describe something that begins with their assigned letter.

  1. I bought this unit along with the whole Houghton Mifflin packet. I've already gotten SO much use out of it! My students have loved all of the BTS activities. Thanks so much for your hard work! It's appreciated.

  3. My kindergarteners are having a hard time writing anything this year. These sentence starters will be a great tool. Thanks for sharing! :)
