New Center Themes

We’re back . . .

and we are so excited to share three new sets of thematic materials that we just posted in our TpT store.  They can all be used in your classroom to organize your guided reading groups and literacy/math centers.  We know many of you have been using these materials throughout the past year so we thought it would be fun to create some generic sets that could be used in a variety of themed classrooms.  Plus . . . we wanted something new for ourselves, too!!!

For more specific information about how we do centers a step-by-step guide is available along with free downloads {here}.

Each new set is available in two separate downloads.  We had to do it this way so we could create the posters on larger (11x17) paper.  It’s important to have them large so they can be displayed and easily seen by students.

We’ve spent a few marathon evening together trying to get everything organized.

Our official first day back is Tuesday and believe it or not . . . we have open house that same evening.  So, we are headed up to school to work in our classrooms all day today.  It might be another late night.  As soon as we’ve got everything put together we will post a few pics of our classrooms.

  5. Love how you organize your classroom centers! Just curious what type of centers are in your classrooms? You have certain names for them? Since you have eight centers....just trying to get ideas. Thanks!!

  6. I just finished printing off/cutting out the polka dot version of your literacy stations...SO cute! Would you mind sharing what your center signs stand for. Some of them, of course, are pretty obvious, but some I would love to know what they all are! Thanks
