Summer Savings

It’s officially summer . . . and every item in our TpT store is on sale TODAY!!!

We have received a lot of requests for a copy of our 2012-2013 pacing guide.  We had NO idea that it would be such a hit!!!  We created it using Microsoft Publisher and due to formatting issues we are only able to share it with you as a pdf.

Click {here} to download a complimentary copy.  We also included a blank set so you can create your own pacing guide to fit your district/school curriculum needs.

Keeping Tabs

Our efforts to get organized have been in full force today.  We’ve added a few new tabs to our web page that have shortcuts and links to some of our most popular products AND we’ve even added our 2012-2013 pacing guide so you can see exactly what skills we will be teaching during the upcoming school year.  We’ve had a lot of questions about this topic so we thought this might be a useful resource.  It also includes a schedule for how we fit all of our thematic math and literacy centers in throughout the school year.  All of the skills build on what we have previously taught so it’s important to use them in a specific order

Summer Lovin’

Hello cyber friends!!!  We hope your summers are off to a great start and you are lovin’ some much deserved time off.  We’ve both taken a few weeks off to reenergize and reorganize and now we are back.

We have recently made some changes to our blog and we now have a new web address.

We will also be adding a few new features to our website this summer, including a tab that has a pacing guided that includes a sequence to the reading and math skills we teach along with all of the fun thematic units we use.  Hopefully this will help answer some of the questions many of you have and it will help you with your own classroom planning.

We are also working on a BIG assessment pack that breaks down all of the 1st Grade Math Common Core Standards by quarter and contains assessments that you can use to document skill mastery throughout the year.  We can’t wait to get it finished up and share it with all of you.
