What the Teacher Wants!

This post is LONG over due, but the sickness has hit us and we can’t seem to get back on track! On January 11 we were SOOOOOO lucky to meet up with Rachelle from What the Teacher Wants! She was in Wichita to present at a conference and she let us know she was going to be in town so we went out for a “fancy” dinner at Panera Bread! It was incredible to meet her!!! She was so sweet and it felt like we had been friends forever! We got to chat for about 2 hours and then had to drop her back at her hotel so she could prepare for her presentation. We were sad that we were unable to attend her sessions and see her in action, but we were sure it was informative and full of “rigor” for the common core! She is incredible! Thanks for coming to Wichita Rachelle!!! We hope you are feeling better-she got sick when she got back and this stuff is NO FUN!!

How many of you have to work tomorrow? We are in session so we will be teaching about MLK! Then we are starting our Penguins on Parade unit and can’t wait-kids love to learn about Penguins!!

Have a GREAT week!!
